Biographical information
Meredith Meacham completed her Master of Public Health in Public Health Genetics at the University of Washington in 2009, with a thesis on disclosure of incidental findings in genetic studies. She is originally from Buffalo, NY, and has a Bachelor's degree from the University of Chicago. As a 2006-2007 Fulbright Fellow to the European Union, she studied social exclusion of minorities and recent changes to drug laws at the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction in Lisbon, Portugal. At SDRG she is working on the Gene Environment Interplay in the Development of Addiction project. In addition to genetics and mental health research, she is also interested in global health and bioethics.
